Top Winter Destinations Aboard
We hope you're having a great New Year!
If you're like us and stuck someplace cold this winter, it sure is nice to dream of being out on the water someplace warm. We've put together our top five winter vacation destinations so you can escape the cold and still get out on the water (if only in your mind!)
British Virgin Islands
Whether your island hopping or walking along the white sandy beaches, the British Virgin Islands is a paradise playground.
When you go you must stop at: Cooper Island, Soggy Dollar, The Baths, Snorkel at Norman Island, and sit at the Bubbly Pool at Jost Van Dyke.
Key West, Florida
This little speck of land is the Southernmost point of the USA and it feels like a completely different world! Enjoy a breathtaking sunset at Mallory Square, the excitement of Duval Street, world class dining, and some of the the best kite surfing on the East Coast!
Staniel Cay, Bahamas
Located in the Exuma Islands, Staniel Cay packs a lot to do in a tiny island. Swim with pigs, explore the legendary Thunderball Grotto, hike the island for extraordinary views and top it all off with a cheeseburger in paradise at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club.
Since travel to Cuba opened up a few years ago, many boaters (and investors alike) have been turning to this once forbidden island to explore a forgotten world rich in character and culture. There are still strict rules to follow regarding tourism, especially boating, so know before you go!
There's a reason why so many snowbirds call Florida their home in the winter months. Aside from the great weather, there's over 1,600 miles of coastline spanning two different bodies of water, giving you unlimited opportunities to discover something new.
